Use the Genealogy Collection

The library has an extensive collection of genealogical materials including local family histories, cemetery records and other items of interest.

The large meeting room at the library also houses the historical artifacts and memorabilia of Ellsworth past.  The room is open during the library hours for viewing materials.    
      Copies of the former Ellsworth News and the present South Hamilton Record/News are on the microfiche machine. Copies of articles can be made for $.15 each. Pictures will have an additional charge determined by size and amount of ink required to print.

     Old sports and war uniforms have been given for viewing.  Also a 1912 graduation dress is on display.

     All the year books of Ellsworth Consolidated School and South Hamilton School are included in the book section. 
     Old pictures have been organized in books for easy reference. 
     Ellsworth, school and family scrap books have been donated.   
      Artist's Wall

A local artist wall is being constructed with donations from the public.                                                  
                   It presently contains 15 pictures.

Those who served 

 A Tribute to Those Who Served in
the Armed Forces list has been compiled and is on display.  

 A celebrities quilt was donated by the Leoan Coates family.  Many former movie stars, radio personalities and politicans have signed quilt blocks which were embroidered by Mrs Coates.

days can be view in the trophy case.
