Summer Library Program: Plant a Seed, Read!

The 2026 Summer Library Program theme is Plant a Seed, Read! We will have a reading challenge and various activities for community members of all ages. Check out our event calendar as the summer nears or stop in at the front desk for more details.

Story Time

Story Time is held each Thursday beginning at 10 am!

This program is for children ages 0 to 5. We read stories, sing songs, dance, create crafts and have a snack! Bring your child or children and join the fun!!!

➕💡🔬 STEM CART 🔬💡➕

We are VERY thankful to the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms for the STEM Cart. This cart is full of different STEM activities! Patrons in good standing can check out STEM kits to use in the library. Stop by to see what all the STEM cart has to offer!

Young(ish) Adult Book Club - Will Not Meet this Month

Dec 29, 2025, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

A book club designed for adults ages 18-30(ish) in the Hamilton County area (and surrounding communities) to get together and talk about a variety of books. The group will meet monthly on the last Monday of the month from 6-7pm.

The book to discuss will be announced and handed out at the previous month's meeting. (For example, September's book will be handed out in August.)

If you would like to join, please contact us so we can get you a book for the next discussion.
